Zelalem Gemmeda is the owner of Abyssinia Ethiopian Cuisine at the West Side Bazaar in Buffalo, New York

She and her husband fled Ethiopia and lived in a refugee camp in Yemen for one year before marrying and settling down there for 12 years. Now she’s happily living in Buffalo, New York, as a restaurateur.
