IAAF – The Herculis meeting ended, as is tradition, with a pyrotechnic show on the infield. But the real fireworks at the IAAF Diamond League meeting in Monaco on Friday (17) came on the track about 50 minutes earlier. I have already shared a brief story of the first Ethiopian Air lady Weyzero Muluemebet Emrua a few months ago. However I didn’t have a clear image of her to show how she looked like in her life time. Now here she is seen gracefully as typical Ethiopian ሴትወይዘሮ as she once was.
Make no mistake, that the daring Air lady Muluembet was not the first licensed female pilot in Ethiopian history at all. But she is the first woman ever to seize the giant aircraft from the ground and descended toward the blue roof of heaven in the year 1936.
So saying she is the first historical Ethiopian lady ever to jump the boundary and to take such risk above the air in the time when women were given the least attention, and when every thing was price tagged under the name of men is fair.

The site is located on the high Gheralta plateau and the archaeologists knew it was once part of the realm of Sheba from the 20ft stone stele carved with the image of the sun and crescent moon – the emblem of Sheba. … Continue reading: http://www.ancient-origins.net/history-famous-people/ethiopian-gold-mine-may-have-supplied-queen-sheba-her-riches-003261boardboardboardboardboard
