Ethiopian painter Mulu Legesse will open a solo exhibition at the Alliance Ethio-Française gallery in Piassa. The show is titled “I Carry – Je Porte.” The Addis Today listing gives the Amharic title as እሸከማለሁ.

Addis Today lists the opening for Thursday, October 8, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., or 12 in the evening in Ethiopian time, on Meskerem 28, 2019. The paintings remain on view through October 31, Tikimt 21, 2019. Hours are Monday to Saturday, from noon to 6:00 p.m., and admission is free.

Addis Today says the exhibition was organized with GERD Art Concept and curated by Gerd Steffes. The listing says the paintings explore identity, memory, and personal narrative.

In late September, the Alliance Ethio-Française LinkedIn page announced the show. The notice names Mulu Legesse, the same dates and hours, the gallery in Piassa, and Gerd Steffes as curator. It said further details would follow.
