Guests in Addis Ababa can paint a clay coffee pot, taste coffees from several origins, and hear live jazz this afternoon. AddisToday lists the gathering as “Brushes, Jebenas, and Live Jazz in Wello Sefer.” It begins Friday, October 2, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., or 8:00 in Ethiopian local time, on Meskerem 22, 2019.
The venue is Aurora Addis Coworking, on the fourth floor of Dani Plaza in Wello Sefer. An elevator reaches the space. Places are limited, and guests must register before they arrive.
Guests paint a jebena by hand. Ranya Umer leads a guided tasting of coffees from different origins. Local vendors set up in the room. The afternoon also includes live jazz and a draw for a fully sponsored trip to Jimma.
An individual ticket costs 2,000 Ethiopian birr. For two people, each person pays 1,500 birr. No end time is listed. Questions go to 0970945940.
The same space held “Jebena Painting and Coffee Experience” on September 19, 2026. That listing named Ranya Umer as host and Zema Jazz Band for the music. The October 2 listing does not name the musicians.
